Attorney General's Pro Bono Heroes

The Attorney General welcomed a number of the unsung heroes of pro bono recently, including 5 FRU volunteers, in the House of Lords.

As last year, the Attorney General held a reception in the Cholmondeley Room of the House of Lords in November 2009 to recognise and thank individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to pro bono work. Among those individuals, whom she described as heroes, were five FRU volunteers,

  • Tim Buley of Landmark Chambers
  • Dingare Shipra
  • Barnaby Large
  • Jennifer Terry and
  • Benedict Wray.

We congratulate them all. At the same time, we thank Lady Scotland, the Attorney General, and of course a FRU alumna herself, for taking this initiative.
